That’s why I designed our Ruffled Nylon Pouches. Not just any pouches.. RUFFLED ones that made me feel a little more pulled together, even on the days I definitely wasn’t. Over time, what started as a small fix became one of the biggest changes in how I keep my life (and my bags) from falling apart!
Why I Use Them
When I first started designing our nylon pouches at HOLLIS, I didn’t plan for them to become such a huge part of my daily routine.. buttt here we are.
I have them tucked in every bag I carry. One holds snacks, another keeps my makeup and personal stuff separate, another has wipes and a change of clothes for the kids. I don’t always know what kind of day I’m walking into - office day, mom day, full-blown meltdown-in-a-parking-lot day - but having a system makes me feel like I can at least start on the right foot.
I keep grabbing for them because they work. They help me stay a little more calm, a little more organized, and a lot more sane.
A Small Detail That Makes a Big Difference
I'm obsessed with the ruffle detail, not because it’s trendy, but because it softens the chaos. It makes something functional feel beautiful. I’ve said it before, but it’s true: I want the things I carry every day to feel like me.
They’re easy to wipe down (a must), hold their shape (even when I overpack), and just feel good to carry!
The Real Game-Changer: Size Options
What’s made the biggest difference for me is having different sizes. I use the smallest one in my diaper bag, a medium in my work tote, and the largest ones when we travel. I don’t have to overthink it, I just grab what fits and go.
Sometimes I use one for kid stuff, one for work, and one just for the random mess that follows me around no matter how hard I try to stay ahead of it.
It’s Not a Fix-All… But It Helps
Look ... no pouch is going to solve everything. Your toddler’s still going to spill their juice. You’re still going to forget something at least once a week. But when my bags are packed with intention, when I know where things are, I move through the day a little better. A little calmer. A little more confident.
